Hellenismo, Comunità Hellena Italiana, non è un'associazione 'formale' né si è mai posta come tale, o in competizione con altre associazioni gentili, presenti in Italia e nel resto del mondo. Al contrario, Hellenismo applica e promuove il dialogo e la reciproca collaborazione fra tutti coloro che sono devoti agli Dei e condividono i valori del mondo Greco-Romano: in effetti, noi consideriamo chiunque abbia le suddette caratteristiche come membro/amico della comunità, la cui base è appunto la Philia, la vera amicizia, così come è descritta dalle Leggi Delfiche e dalle parole degli Antichi. Per questo, non è mai stato nostro interesse fondare una associazione, piuttosto desideriamo essere una sorta di 'ponte' simbolico fra le diverse Tradizioni, seguendo gli ideali di unità e di apertura messi in pratica da sovrani come Alessandro, Adriano e Giuliano, e da filosofi come Pitagora, Platone e Proclo. Da sempre il modello e lo spirito Ellenico hanno dato l'esempio e hanno causato e sostenuto la Rinascita, è già accaduto in passato, e la nostra più grande speranza è che possa accadere ora nuovamente: tutti i nostri sforzi sono, e saranno sempre, rivolti solo al conseguimento di tale fine. L'Europa, in virtù delle sue profonde radici spirituali e culturali, può e deve rinascere e ciò potrà avvenire solo quando gli Europei ricorderanno tali radici: si sveglieranno allora dall'oblio in cui sono sprofondati, avendo ricordato che esiste un'altra possibilità per vivere in modo più giusto e bello. Il nostro dovere, in quanto devoti, amanti delle nostre radici antichissime e moderni cittadini europei, è quello di aiutare le nostre terre e le loro popolazioni a liberarsi dalla superstizione e dall'oscurantismo, in ogni sua forma, fornendo loro un'alternativa concreta e una possibilità di scelta: è necessario diffondere questo modello, completamente antitetico a quello contemporaneo, e la consapevolezza che, con il giusto impegno, è assolutamente realizzabile.

Come è nato il gruppo Hellenismo: nacque il giorno dell'Equinozio di Primavera 2787, come 'simposio virtuale'. Sentivamo la necessità di offrire la possibilità di comunicare, condividere conoscenze e lavorare insieme per la rinascita delle antiche Tradizioni, quella Hellenica in particolare, al maggior numero di persone possibile: infatti, non è pensabile una rinascita religiosa che non sia preceduta da una rinascita culturale, ed una rinascita culturale non può che avere inizio con la diffusione della conoscenza, e questo è lo scopo principale di Hellenismo. Esisteva infatti un magnifico mosaico, che venne distrutto dal cieco fanatismo degli atei cristiani, e nostro unico compito e desiderio è la ricostruzione di quel mosaico, perchè tutti possano gustarne la bellezza e l'immenso valore. Accanto a questo obbiettivo, parallelamente ad esso, svolgiamo attività di ricerca, ricostruendo il culto domestico,i rituali e le festività, in modo tale che correttezza e validità filologica si sposino con la pratica devozionale, e che sia così nuovamente possibile, per chiunque lo desideri, venerare gli Dei, senza sovrapposizioni moderne e senza difetti dovuti all'ignoranza e alla scarsa sollecitudine nei confronti delle cose divine. La diffusione di una corretta conoscenza a proposito dell'eredità preziosissima dei nostri Antenati e la ricostruzione del culto sono finalizzate all'applicazione pratica, perchè all'essere umano contemporaneo sia data nuovamente la possibilità di vivere secondo la propria vera natura e secondo le leggi ancestrali dei nostri Avi, e non in modo degradato e degradante come avviene nella attuale situazione.

A proposito della rivista online: la nostra rivista è nata dalla necessità di raccogliere, in forma unitaria ed ordinata, la grande mole di materiali che il 'Simposio virtuale', e non solo, ha prodotto, nel corso degli anni. Perciò, la rivista contiene tutti i documenti, le note, i dialoghi e il repertorio iconografico che abbiamo accumulato fin da quando è nato concretamente il nostro progetto. Possiamo dire che costituisca la biblioteca virtuale di Hellenismo, ed è una biblioteca che abbiamo cercato di diffondere il più possibile. Abbiamo infatti deciso di pubblicarla online anche per questo motivo: perchè potesse raggiungere un numero maggiore di persone, anche al di fuori dell'ambiente gentile, perchè è essenziale che le conoscenze che cerchiamo di diffondere non rimangano a disposizione solo dei pochi che già amano la Tradizione, ma siano disponibili anche per tutti coloro che, anche solo per curiosità, cercano risposte.



Hellenismo, Comunità Hellena Italiana, is not a 'formal' association, nor has ever presented itself as such, or in competition with other associations of Gentiles, in Italy and in the rest of the world. On the contrary, Hellenismo applies and promotes dialogue and mutual cooperation among all those who are devoted to the Gods and share the values ​​of the Greek-Roman world: in fact, we consider anyone who has these characteristics as a member/friend of the community, whose foundation is indeed Philia, true friendship, as it is described by the Delphic laws and by the words of the Ancients. For this reason, it was never our interest to establish an association, rather we want to be a sort of 'bridge' between the different Traditions, following the ideals of unity and openness put into practice by rulers like Alexander, Adrian and Julian, and by philosophers such as Pythagoras, Plato, and Proclus. Always the Hellenic model and the Hellenic spirit have given the example and have caused and sustained the renaissance, it has already happened in the past, and our greatest hope is that it now will happen again: all our efforts are, and will always be, addressed only to achieve this goal. Europe, because of its deep spiritual and cultural roots, can and must be reborn again and this will only happen when the Europeans will remember these roots: then, they will wake up from the oblivion into which they are sunk, having remembered that there is an another possibility to live in a more just and beautiful way. Our duty, as devotees, lovers of our so ancient roots, and also as modern european citizens, is to help our lands and their peoples to free themselves from superstition and obscurantism, in all their forms, providing a real alternative and a choice: it is necessary to spread this model, completely antithetical to the contemporary one, and the consciousness that, with the right commitment, it is absolutely achievable, even in our present days.

How was born the group Hellenismo: it was born on the day of the Spring Equinox 2787, as a 'virtual symposium'. We felt the need to provide the chance to communicate, to share knowledges and to work together for the rebirth of the ancient Traditions, the Hellenic one in particular, to as many people as possible: in fact, it is unthinkable that a religious rebirth is not preceded by a cultural renaissance and a cultural renaissance can only begin with the spreading of knowledge, and this is the main purpose of Hellenismo. There was indeed a magnificent mosaic, that was destroyed by the blind fanaticism of atheist christians, and our only task and desire is the reconstruction of that mosaic, so that everyone can taste the beauty and immense value of it. In addition to this goal, parallel to it, we carry on research, reconstructing the domestic worship, rituals and festivities, so that correctness and philological validity may be united with devotional practice, and thus that may be again possible, for anyone who wishes it, to worship the Gods, without modern superimpositions and without defects due to ignorance and lack of concern for the divine things. The propagation of a correct knowledge about the precious legacy of our Ancestors and the reconstruction of the Cult are aimed to a practical application, so that to the contemporary human being is given again the opportunity to live according to one's true nature and by following the ancestral laws of our Forefathers, and not in a degraded and degrading way, as in the current situation.

About our online magazine: our magazine is born from the need to collect, in a unitary and orderly manner, the large amount of materials that the 'Virtual Symposium', and not only, has produced over the years. Therefore, the magazine includes all the documents, notes, researches, dialogues and the iconographic repertoire that we have accumulated since the birth of our project. We can say that it provides the virtual library of Hellenismo, and it is a library that we have tried to spread as much as possible. We have decided to post it online also for this reason: so that it could reach more people, even outside of the sphere of the Gentiles, because it is essential that the knowledges that we try to spread remain available not only to those who already love the Tradition, but that they may be also available to all those who, even only out of curiosity, are looking for answers.
